Local, Organic, Delicious – A Sweet Welcome to The Jackson House Inn

Original-Caramels-tlTaste is extremely important to us at The Jackson House Inn, and we try to make sure that guests experience organic, local Vermont products in every way possible.  So it was an easy choice for us to share Red Kite Caramels as a welcome treat in our rooms.  Each time you remove the red wrapper, you are in for a melt-in-your-mouth delight, or as one of our guests told us – “…cruel and unusual punishment…to only have one.”  Elaine McCabe founded Red Kite Candy in 2009 in honor of her brother and special family memories (another topic near and dear to us).

And Red Kite’s commitments to respect the environment by choosing organic ingredients, using recycled and/or compostable packaging, and practicing reduced energy use all add to the perfect connection with our own practices at the inn.  Visit their online store for a unique, memorable taste of Vermont.
