Exciting news for The Jackson House Inn!  We are proud to have been awarded Green Hotel status in Vermont in recognition of our ongoing commitment to conservation and protection of the environment.  In addition to being a completely smoke-free inn and property, we take our responsibility for offering a healthy environment very seriously.  Organic Vermont Coffee Company coffee and a delicious assortment of organic and herbal teas provide the perfect start on the porch, the patio or in a cozy chair.  Rick shops daily to access the freshest, locally-sourced breakfast ingredients available with an emphasis on organic options.  Only natural oils are used in our amenities and fresh scents from soy-based candles linger through the public spaces.  In addition to our efforts to increase recycling and reuse, our guests’ attention to recycling of products and conservation of our precious water and electrical supply is truly appreciated.  Careful selection of linens and cleaning products contribute to comfort at every turn.
